He was later appointed Vice Chair, Global Industry Leader, where he led Deloitte’s first integrated 5‑year growth strategy, expanding global industry revenues from $62B to $113B.

Brian Dean has more than 27 years of experience in energy efficiency and has support governments and organizations globally with energy efficiency and energy transition policy and investment. As the Director of the Energy Transition department, Brian oversees 5 teams that support global progress on achieving SDG7, including Energy Efficiency, Cooling for All, Energy Transition Planning, Integrated Energy Planning and the Intelligence Unit. Brian joined Sustainable Energy for All as Head of Energy Efficiency and Cooling in 2019. Prior to joining SEforALL, Brian was an official at the International Energy Agency where he was the lead for Energy Efficiency in Buildings for 5 years. Prior to joining the IEA, Brian was head of Energy Efficiency Policy and Analytics at ICF International in Washington DC and New Delhi. Brian has an education in engineering, architecture and political science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Amy Myers Jaffe serves as Director of the Energy, Climate Justice and Sustainability Lab at New York University's School of Professional Studies and is a research professor who teaches graduate-level courses examining clean technology innovation and business and global climate finance. A leading expert on global energy policy, sustainability, and geopolitical risk, Jaffe is widely published on energy, commodity markets and finance and is author of several books, including her most recent book, "Energy's Digital Future" published in 2021 by Columbia University Press and Oil, Dollars, Debt and Crises: The Global Curse of Black Gold (with co-author Mahmoud El-Gamal) published by Cambridge University Press in 2010. Jaffe is a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Climate Policy Lab at Tufts University and a regular contributor to the popular podcast "The Energy Gang" and a frequent media commentator in television and print media, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times of London and CNN International. Jaffe holds a career prize in energy economics from the US Association for Energy Economics and also served as the organization's President in 2020.
Jaffe has advised numerous organizations on geopolitical risk and climate and sustainability including multinational organizations and major Fortune 500 companies. From 2014 to 2017, Jaffe served as senior advisor on sustainability to the Office of the Chief Investment Officer of the University of California, Regents, where she helped design the sustainable investing framework for the UC's $140 billion pension and endowment funds. She has taught energy and sustainability classes at several universities including New York University, Rice University, Yale University and University of California, Davis.

Before government service, he co-founded and led Generate Capital ($10B AUM) and founded SunEdison, pioneering third-party solar financing. He also served as the founding CEO of the Carbon War Room, launched by Sir Richard Branson to accelerate climate solutions.

Jan Rosenow is Professor of Energy and Climate Policy at the University of Oxford and leads the Energy Programme at the Environmental Change Institute. He is a Jackson Senior Research Fellow at Oriel College, Oxford. Jan is also a Senior Associate at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge. A leading expert in energy policy, efficiency, and electrification, he advises governments and organisations, including the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Energy Agency. In 2025 Jan was asked to brief the 27 EU energy ministers at a formal European Council debate on industrial electrification. His work has shaped key energy and climate policies and featured in The New York Times, Forbes, the Economist, and the BBC. In recognition of his work he was named the most-read thought leader on the energy transition in 2024.
Anthony leads and manages ESG integration and drives sustainable investments for one of the largest multi-manager platform asset management group in Asia. Prior to this, he held various asset management roles in London, Singapore and Hong Kong, including Gartmore, Pictet and BNP Paribas.Â
A recognized leader to drive Green investments, Climate Governance and Engagement in Asia, Anthony serves as a Supervisory Board member of the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA), and a Steering Committee member of the World Economic Forum Climate Governance Initiative (CGI) Hong Kong, Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) Stakeholder Council, CFA Institute ESG Technical Committee and Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) Expert Panel. With over two decades of experience in advocating for the clean energy economy, Luke Tonachel develops and drives strategy at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). He works across the power, transportation, and buildings sectors with a focus on affordable and beneficial electrification policy. Luke has led NRDC’s national and state-level campaigns to advance clean and energy-efficient vehicles, charging infrastructure, and clean fuels. He has authored and contributed to numerous nationally recognized reports and analyses covering vehicle electrification, improved vehicle efficiency and other oil and pollution reduction opportunities. Before working at NRDC, he received hands-on experience with energy systems and propulsion plants while serving as a nuclear engineering officer aboard a U.S. Navy cruiser. Luke has an education in engineering and public policy from the University of Rochester and University of California, Berkeley.
Warren Leon is Executive Director of the Clean Energy States Alliance. He oversees the organization’s day-to-day operations and leads strategy development. He is also Project Director for the 100% Clean Energy Collaborative. He has written and edited many reports for CESA, including serving as lead author for Advice for States on 100% Clean Energy Planning and Solar with Justice: Strategies for Powering Up Under-Resourced Communities and Growing an Inclusive Solar Market. Prior to working for CESA, Warren was Director of the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust, Executive Director of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, and Deputy Director for Programs at the Union of Concerned Scientists. He co-authored the influential book The Consumer's Guide to Effective Environmental Choices. He holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University. He is chair of the board of the municipal utility in his hometown of Concord, Massachusetts.
Melissa Stark is an adjunct professor at Rice Business, teaching electricity and energy transition topics.
Melissa has spent over 30 years working in the utilities and energy industry.
Melissa had a 30-year career with Accenture. She was Accenture’s global lead for renewables and energy transition services, leading teams to deliver more than 200 renewable and energy transition projects across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
From September 2023 to November 2024, she served as a senior adviser in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management, where she received a certificate of appreciation in recognition for her outstanding contribution in developing the FECM Regional Reports and advancing AI initiatives.
Melissa has authored more than 50 papers and articles on clean energy and energy transition. She was a fellow of the World Economic Forum from 2020-2023, working on system value, industrial clusters, clean electrification, cities, hydrogen and emerging economies. She served as a member of the U.S. National Petroleum Council from 2022-2023. She is a fellow of the U.K. Energy Institute and a member of the U.K. ESO’s Technology Advisory Council. Stark received a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Northwestern University.
Paula R. Glover started as President of the Alliance to Save Energy in January 2021. A dynamic leader with more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, Ms. Glover is the seventh president in the Alliance’s 43-year history. Ms. Glover previously served as President and CEO of the American Association of Blacks in Energy, a non-profit professional association whose focus is to ensure that African Americans and other minorities have input into the discussions and development of energy policy, regulations, and environmental issues. In this role, she was responsible for managing the national office, and providing strategic direction and leadership for the organization. Prior to this role, Ms. Glover served as AABE’s Vice President of Operations and as the organization’s Director of Communications.
Ms. Glover’s other experiences include 15 years in the energy industry for both electric and natural gas distribution companies. During that time, she built a stellar reputation working with state legislators and regulators in her roles as Manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs. Ms. Glover commands a clear understanding of the consumer and community sides of the business as well having held industry positions in Community Outreach and Economic Development. Ms. Glover is a seasoned non-Profit professional. Prior to her time at AABE, Ms. Glover was the Community Awareness Director for the Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut where she was responsible for the organizations’ marketing, communications, community and government relations and public relations functions. Ms. Glover has served on the National Petroleum Council since 2014. She serves on the board of the Keystone Policy Center and Groundswell, a community solar development organization. She is also a Trustee for Cardigan Mountain School, a junior boarding school in Canaan, NH. She received her B.S. in Marketing Management from the University of Delaware.
Rana Adib is the Executive Director of REN21, the global network of diverse stakeholders that enable the necessary changes to build the renewables economy for prosperous lives and societies. She is also the chair of SLOCAT, an international multi-stakeholder partnership enabling knowledge and action for sustainable, low carbon transport.
An engineer by training, Rana Adib has worked in the private sector and applied research in the fields of renewable energy, energy access and waste management as well as in the biomethane sector. With her cross-functional profile, she likes to provide solutions that pave the way to a world built on renewable energy.
Abigail Ross Hopper is the president and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), the national trade association for America’s solar and storage industry. A visionary leader, she has transformed SEIA into an advocacy powerhouse and the leading voice for a $64 billion industry that employs over 280,000 workers in the U.S.Â
Since joining SEIA in 2017, Ms. Hopper has overseen record industry growth, helped quintuple U.S. solar manufacturing capacity, and championed policies that support American energy dominance. She has appeared on The Hill’s Top Lobbyist list since 2020 and is a recognized voice in national energy media. Ms. Hopper is also working to shepherd the next generation of the solar workforce by championing diversity efforts in the industry and through her Solar Sisters initiative.Â
Prior to SEIA, Ms. Hopper served as director of the Maryland Energy Administration and led the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. A lawyer by trade, she earned her law degree from the University of Maryland and holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College.Â
Ms. Hopper currently serves on the boards of RE+ Events, Earthday.org, the Consumer Energy Education Fund, and the Irving Institute at Dartmouth. She is the very proud mom of three children.
Eduarda Zoghbi is a Climate and Energy Specialist at the Climate Investment Funds and Founder of MPower Brasil, an organization promoting women’s leadership in the energy sector. With over a decade of experience in international climate cooperation, Eduarda has been recognized as a Forbes Under 30, Reuters Future Leaders in Energy 2024 and World Energy Council FEL-100. Additionally, she is a Board Member at Student Energy and Fellow of the Atlantic Council's Women Leaders in Energy program. Her work has been distinguished internationally with awards, including GWEC’s REvolutionaries, AMP’s Global Youth Visionary, and NAAEE 30 Under 30. Eduarda holds an MPA in energy policy from Columbia University and a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Brasilia.
Shunondo Basu is the Director of Energy Technology & Innovation on The Rockefeller Foundation’s Power & Climate team, where he oversees the Energy Technology Futures portfolio and drives philanthropic investments in the energy innovation space. He recently worked to commission an analytical study about the role of nuclear energy in the Global South, and continues to steer the Foundation’s direction in the nuclear space. He is also leading a set of utility power grid modernization initiatives and rolled out a first-of-a-kind Digital Twin of the distribution power grid in Rajasthan, India in collaboration with The Global Energy Alliance for People & Planet. Previously, he served as Vice President at BlackRock, helping to deploy over $8B into energy infrastructure investments, and prior to that, as Senior Power & Gas Analyst at Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
