Please join us for a Reuters Newsmaker featuring GSK CEO Emma Walmsley.
GSK, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, is reshaping itself into a leader in developing vaccines and tackling infectious diseases. The UK-based drugmaker, valued at around $72 billion, is doubling down on innovative medicines after spinning off its consumer drugs division, Haleon, in 2022.
Walmsley is spearheading the transformation, putting new leadership at the head of GSK’s research and development team. Reuters Global Industry Editor, Health & Pharma, Michele Gershberg will lead a discussion with Walmsley on GSK’s strategy as global health priorities evolve, from the company’s strong launch of a new RSV vaccine to its new collaboration in China and plans to strengthen its drugs pipeline before its top-selling HIV medicines lose patent protection in the coming years.
