How are young audiences consuming news in 2023? How has online engagement evolved over time? How many people use TikTok for news? Are inflation and news avoidance having a negative impact on the rise of reader revenue models? Do audiences listen to news podcasts? How do they see the role of public broadcasters today?
These are some of the questions at the heart of the Reuters Institute’s Digital News Report 2023, the most comprehensive study of news consumption worldwide, based on a YouGov survey of over 92,000 online news consumers in 46 markets. We would be delighted if you could join us on Thursday, June 22nd at 9:30 EST for the global launch event of this year’s report at 810 Seventh Avenue in New York.
